OUR LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS:
I have been immersed in the study and practice of the Healing Arts for over 15 years. I received my 700 hr massage training through The Santa Fe School of Massage in Santa Fe, NM, and have earned over 1000 additional hours in subtle bodywork education, including Cranial-Sacral Therapy. A Life-long practitioner and teacher of yoga, qigong, and meditation, I am deeply devoted to nurturing the awakening and emergence of core essence. I serve as a midwife of the Soul in my healing and teaching practice, as well as through my work with hospice as a comfort therapist. I specialize in subtle bodywork, energy medicine, and deep relaxation massage.
I am a Seattle native who called the San Juan Islands home for 4 years before moving to Port Townsend. I studied at Cortiva School of Massage in Seattle and have a degree in Molecular Biology from UW. I have run several laps in the complex study of health, physiology, and the development of human potential. In massage, I like working intuitively at all depths. My touch is sensitive to Myofascial motility, Cranio-sacral, energy, and is especially tuned to that perfect pressure “hurts so good” Swedish style depth. Outside of massage I am an avid student of martial arts, dance, swimming, and perceptual development.
I am blessed to have found home by the Salish Sea at the foot of the majestic Olympic Mountains. I love to ease people’s pain and empower them in their healing. I enjoy easing anxiety and bringing balance in body, mind and spirit. I am an intuitive energy worker and Reiki Master/Instructor trained in herbalism, aromatherapy, and Therapeutic Touch. I am a graduate of Port Townsend School of Massage with additional training through Upledger Institute for Craniosacral Therapy. I provide Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki and Chakra Balancing. I approach each massage with reverence and respect for the individual.
I am a native of the Pacific Northwest and a graduate of the University of Washington and the Brenneke School of Massage. I have over 15 years experience in the massage industry and consider my work to be a blend of Swedish, deep-tissue and myofascial techniques. One of the things that I most enjoy about massage is working with my clients to create a unique and individual experience that meets their changing needs with each session. When not working, I love being in the outdoors. In the summer months you’ll find me kayaking, photographing our local wildlife, and scouring the beaches for seaglass. In winter, I enjoy cooking and snuggling by the fire with my furry ‘kids’ and a good book.
I am a Pacific Northwest native and completed my 900 hour Therapeutic Massage program at Centerpoint Massage and Shiatsu School and Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. I have received extra training in Thai massage and Myofascial Balancing. I truly believe in the body’s ability to heal, and love assisting each client with their unique process toward feeling their best.
Originally from New Hampshire, my family and I relocated to Port Townsend with the dream of living in a small town by the sea. I attended the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2015 and have been practicing bodywork ever since. My background as a yoga teacher, athlete and doula all contribute to my fascination, excitement and reverence for the body. In every session I aim to create a safe and welcoming space for healing and relaxation. I love to listen and collaborate with clients helping you move toward health goals and finding a greater sense of wellbeing. While my training is rooted in Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, I have additional training in Myofascial Release and in working at a deeper level with the neck. When I am not practicing bodywork I can be found chasing my toddler, running, and enjoying this beautiful place we call home!
I am grateful to have been offering the gift of massage therapy for over 14 years, having completed the Integrated Program of Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue certification at the Atlanta School of Massage in 2003. I offer tools of transforming how we live in our bodies from my additional background as a certified Yoga instructor, and extensive Thai massage and theory studies. This can include understanding and changing movement patterns that create muscle dysfunction, to incorporating body positioning in massage to access muscles therapeutically and deeply, yet without discomfort. I also love honoring and co-creating a nurturing, relaxing massage, supporting the retreat experience offered at Soak. My interests beyond bodywork include studying herbalism and wild-foraging, and especially exploring our beautiful trails on the Olympic Peninsula.
