OUR LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS:

FullSizeRender (1)Kurt Hardesty:

I am a Seattle native who called the San Juan Islands home for 4 years before moving to Port Townsend. I studied at Cortiva School of Massage in Seattle and have a degree in Molecular Biology from UW. I have run several laps in the complex study of health, physiology, and the development of human potential. In massage, I like working intuitively at all depths. My touch is sensitive to Myofascial motility, Cranio-sacral, energy, and is especially tuned to that perfect pressure “hurts so good” Swedish style depth. Outside of massage I am an avid student of martial arts, dance, swimming, and perceptual development.

Wendi Robinson:

I am a native of the Pacific Northwest and a graduate of the University of Washington and the Brenneke School of Massage.  I have over 15 years experience in the massage industry and consider my work to be a blend of Swedish, deep-tissue and myofascial techniques.  One of the things that I most enjoy about massage is working with my clients to create a unique and individual experience that meets their changing needs with each session.  When not working, I love being in the outdoors.  In the summer months you’ll find me kayaking, photographing our local wildlife, and scouring the beaches for seaglass.  In winter, I enjoy cooking and snuggling by the fire with my furry ‘kids’ and a good book.

I am a Pacific Northwest native and completed my 900 hour Therapeutic Massage program at Centerpoint Massage and Shiatsu School and Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. I have received extra training in Thai massage and Myofascial Balancing. I truly believe in the body’s ability to heal, and love assisting each client with their unique process toward feeling their best.

Lucy

Lucy Obetz:

Originally from New Hampshire, my family and I relocated to Port Townsend with the dream of living in a small town by the sea.  I attended the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2015 and have been practicing bodywork ever since.  My background as a yoga teacher, athlete and doula all contribute to my fascination, excitement and reverence for the body.  In every session I aim to create a safe and welcoming space for healing and relaxation. I love to listen and collaborate with clients helping you move toward health goals and finding a greater sense of wellbeing.  While my training is rooted in Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, I have additional training in Myofascial Release and in working at a deeper level with the neck.  When I am not practicing bodywork I can be found chasing my toddler, running, and enjoying this beautiful place we call home!

Lisa

Lisa Goswick:

I am grateful to have been offering the gift of massage therapy for over 14 years, having completed the Integrated Program of Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue certification at the Atlanta School of Massage in 2003.  I offer tools of transforming how we live in our bodies from my additional background as a certified Yoga instructor, and extensive Thai massage and theory studies.  This can include understanding and changing movement patterns that create muscle dysfunction, to incorporating body positioning in massage to access muscles therapeutically and deeply, yet without discomfort.  I also love honoring and co-creating a nurturing, relaxing massage, supporting the retreat experience offered at Soak.  My interests beyond bodywork include studying herbalism and wild-foraging, and especially exploring our beautiful trails on the Olympic Peninsula.

Mackenzie Renkert:

I am a Pacific Northwest native and graduate of the Port Townsend School of Massage.  I am fascinated by the relationship between the body, mind and spirit and how each one of us is a creative portrait of these intertwining elements.  I am here to hold healing space for you to process being a human and to cultivate love, creativity and wellness in your life.  I will listen to your body and work with you to inspire deep relaxation with Swedish massage and intentional deep tissue work.  I am honored to work with you!

Sophia Petricola:

After 700 hours of massage training with the Port Townsend School of Massage and Triple Gem School of Thai Massage, and with 5 years experience teaching Yoga, my utmost goal is to facilitate a safe space for you to feel well, nourished, and grounded in your body. I offer individualized and intuitive sessions to help you experience your body with more ease; creating space for you to feel nurtured and at home in your own skin. My sessions are based in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, as well as the rhythmic Thai massage, and from my practice with energetic Yogic anatomy and Ayurveda. Wherever in your journey, I am honored to hold space for you.

Melody Pace:

I was born right across the water in Coupeville and lived in many states before coming back to the Northwest where I graduated from Oregon School of Massage in 2015. My specialties are therapeutic deep tissue, relaxation and cupping therapy. I practice deep listening with each client and believe that our bodies hold the knowledge of what they need to be in balance. In my free time I practice meditation, organize with a radical theater collective, listen to the birds sing, and work on my off grid land project.
