Soak on the Sound is a place of healing and restoration
where ‘Spa Etiquette’ is practiced at all times.
Here are some of our policies to ensure you the highest quality soaking experience…

 

 

  • Wash it All Away…

You are entering a public bathing facility. Please note that showering before entering any of our tubs or sauna is mandatory….Rinse away your day and prepare yourself to indulge in the Soak experience! To aid in the release of toxins, and keep the lymph flowing vitally, taking ‘cold plunge’ showers in the middle of your soak or sauna experience is highly recommended, as well as showering to complete your visit before you go…

 

  • HYDRATE

Please Stay Hydrated! Drink plenty of water before and after all treatments. We recommend 8ozs of water for every 15 minutes of heat. We serve complimentary utlra-hydrating and purifying lemon and cucumber water in our lobby. We have cups for you here, or you may bring your own BPA-free plastic or Stainless Steal water bottle to use throughout your visit (we have some for sale, too). Staying hydrated will ensure your best results, aid in detox, and you will leave feeling amazing. Soaking can stir up an appetite…we have light snacks for sale in our shop, but do not recommend soaking on a full stomach. Alcohol and soaking don’t mix.

 

  • BOOKINGS & GRATUITIES

We strongly recommend advance booking for our private tub rooms and massage treatments. We cannot guarantee walk-in availability for these services. Just call us and we’ll save your spot! Gratuities are not included in our pricing. Gratuities are ‘expected’ for massage services in the spa environment. Our massage therapists & staff greatly appreciate your tips!

 

  • ARRIVING

When arriving for a pre-booked private tub or massage service, please arrive 5 mins early so you can enjoy an unhurried transition. If you plan to Soak before your massage, please allow yourself adequate time for that as well. In order to ensure the guests coming after you receive their full session, private tub sessions begin and end on schedule whether you arrive on time or not. Thanks for understanding.

 

  • MASSAGE CANCELLATION POLICY

Massage cancellations require 24 hours notice in order to process a refund.

At Soak, we LOVE to serve you. Your massage therapist awaits you, and simple protocols keep your appointments flowing smoothly…

We will take your credit card information at the time of booking for cancellation purposes only, you will only be charged in the case of a late cancellation or no show. ‘No fee’ cancellations require 24-hour advance notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment, or ‘no shows’ are assessed a $50 non-refundable fee. Please understand that we have declined other appointments to save your spot, and that we still need to honor the therapist’s time even if you cancel. If you have a gift certificate for your appointment, the $50 fee will be deducted from the gift amount.

 

  • PRIVATE TUB CANCELLATION POLICY

Private Tub reservation cancellations require 6 hours notice. If a cancellation or missed reservation occurs under six hours in advance, a $26 per person fee will be charged. Please understand that we have declined other appointments to save your spot, thank you.

 

  • CONVERSATION & NOISE

Throughout the facility, all conversation should be kept quiet and to a minimum. Please remember you have come here to relax, and tune in to yourself, please do not assume other guests want to hear (or engage with) your conversations. This is a big part of spa etiquette, and our staff may remind you if you have temporarily forgotten. NOTE: even in the private rooms, sound carries! Please remember you are in a public space, NOT your bathtub at home!

 

  • Nudity

We want you to feel comfortable during your time at Soak! Please be respectful at all times. Our private tub rooms are just that, private, bathe as you wish. In the community tub room and sauna clothing is also optional, you may wear a suit in the tub, a towel in the sauna, or bathe naked. Ladies nights, and other special occasions, clothing is also optional, unless otherwise stated. Sexual behavior of any sort is not tolerated in the bathhouse.

(We have bathing suits available for rent if you’d like to wear one and forgot yours at home!)

 

  • Cell Phones & Valuables

Please silence your cell phone before entering Soak! We ask for absolutely no cell phone use during your stay. We will ask you to step outside if you must take a call. Cubbies are provided in the Community tub room to stow your belongings. While we provide a safe environment at Soak, we cannot guarantee your belongings will be secure, so please be mindful of your valuables, or leave them in the car/at home.

 

  • Children

Our tubs are HOT…children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the tubs or sauna. Persons 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult and are not allowed in the Community Tub area. Please remember, Soak is a tranquil, spa environment. Horse-play, loud voices, or inappropriate conversation topics or volume will not be tolerated.

 

  • Talk To Us!

Our staff are here to serve you. Please let us know if you need anything! Please inform us of any medical condition you have concerns about, if you see something inappropriate, if something feels unsafe or unclean, if you need us to get you a glass of water, if more essential oil is needed in the sauna, or whatever it may be! We are here to serve you, and it is our pleasure.
